The Daily Record named Elise Elfman, our President and CEO, one of Maryland’s 2023 Most Admired CEOs.
The Daily Record Most Admired CEOs honors talented business CEOs, higher education leaders and nonprofit executive directors throughout Maryland whose leadership and vision are admired by those around them. A panel of judges selects these winners based on professional accomplishments, community service and the letters of references submitted by co-workers, board members and community leaders showing the CEO’s leadership and vision.
“This year’s Most Admired CEOs demonstrate that leadership matters. Many people are promoted into leadership roles, but only some have the emotional intelligence, focus, drive and compassion to become an admired leader,” said Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, managing director of BridgeTower Media/The Daily Record. “The 2023 Most Admired CEOs are admired by their peers, their teams and the community. The Daily Record congratulates them on this honor.”
The winners were honored at a celebratory brunch on November 9, 2023 at the Hilton Baltimore BWI Airport. The celebration included networking, food stations, and drinks prior to the awards presentation.
Winners were also profiled in a special magazine that was included in the November 10th issue of The Daily Record and will be available online at TheDailyRecord.com.
What drives Elfman as a leader is not just the success of the business but the holistic growth and well-being of her team. She is committed to fostering a culture that values employee growth, well-being and active participation in her community. Through fair compensation, opportunities for education, and community engagement, Elfman aims to set an example that goes beyond business.
